We are looking for a Cash Assistant Manager to manage the direction of a specific operational function and staff within the Memphis Cash department. As our Cash Assistant Manager, you will report to a Manager and oversee the inherent risk in a valuables handling area by maintaining the proper balance of cost, control, and productivity and build relationships within the department, Bank, and external partners. You will coach and provide development opportunities for your staff and evaluate and improve processes and workflows to ensure high standards of controls and productivity; including developing and analyzing tactical plans for specific operational function(s) that align with our organizational goals.
Responsibilities

Ensure daily processing in a specific function is completed, issues are escalated, and management reporting is complete. Ensure any gaps are addressed and controls remain at high levels

Develop a culture of continuous process improvement that consistently looks for ways to increase collaboration and productivity while maintaining strong controls

Identify process/workflow gaps that require correction or improvement

Ensure processing standards follow policy and are efficient so that controls and productivity are not compromised

Ensure documented procedures and controls are followed by the team members
-
Develop direct reports through training, mentoring, and performance management
-
Develop positive relationships with other departments (e.g., Law Enforcement, Human Resources, Compliance)

Monitor valuables handling environment through live observations and recorded video to ensure staff are following applicable control procedures

Build teamwork within and between units in the department
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree or commensurate business-related experience
-
5 years of related operations experience including 2 years of experience leading projects or teams
-
Experience in Cash Operations is not required

Can monitor compliance with established policies, procedures and controls
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
-
You value accuracy along with well-maintained documentation
-
Can motivate and work through others to accomplish tasks

Customer service experience
-
Can manage multiple projects, have strong business acumen and can use analytical skills

Can administer and follow established procedures and guidelines
-
Travel (10%)

Candidates with less experience may be considered at a lower job grade or salary

Salary: $82,400 - $98,000 annual
