Job Title: Legal Counsel

Clearwater is actively seeking Legal Counsels to join our Legal Department. This is a prime opportunity for experienced attorneys to become part of a newly formed India-based legal team that will support international commercial matters and team members and be responsible for India legal matters. Responsibilities:
• Draft and meticulously review legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
• Support the preparation and negotiation of client agreements and commercial transactions.
• Review and negotiate vendor agreements and commercial transactions.
• Participate actively in corporate governance matters, ensuring legal compliance across all operations.
• Support international legal structure and compliance efforts
• Provide legal support for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams
• Stay current with developments in relevant legal areas and proactively share knowledge with the legal team.
Required Skills:
• Strong legal agreement drafting and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of software and technology concepts.
• Commercial savvy.

Education & Experience:
- 6-10 years of experience in commercial contracts and negotiations.
- Experience working for a technology, consulting or outsourcing company with international operations.
- Demonstrated experience in compliance matters.
- Corporate Secretarial certifications a plus.
