Get to Know the Team

The Record-to-Report (RTR) team is dedicated to ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance, playing a crucial role in the financial health of the organization. We collaborate to streamline processes and deliver insights that drive informed decision-making.

Get to know the Role:

You will be reporting to Finance Manager and you will support all General Ledger and Reporting related activities. The main accountabilities includes ensuring service delivery in accordance to SLAs / KPIs and quality review, providing clear direction to the team following Finance Ops Support and Services strategy.

This role is based on-site in our Petaling Jaya office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

Functional

  • -You will support the Manager in identifying areas for process optimization and conducting quality reviews to ensure adherence to defined policies and procedures.
  • You will perform multiple accounting tasks, including reporting and master data transaction processing, while investigating, resolving, and escalating issues promptly.
  • You will have a working knowledge of regional VAT/GST regulations and their applications.
  • You will maintain internal documentation, SOPs, and metric controls, while also distinguishing between financial and management reporting requirements.
  • You will maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, providing professional and consistent service in resolving inquiries related to fixed assets and intercompany activities.
  • You will lead process improvements for managing intercompany and fixed asset transactions, focusing on continuous improvement and ensuring accurate execution within budget.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in GL and reporting processes with in-depth knowledge of legal/regulatory requirements
  • Experienced in Oracle ERP / Oracle Fusion will be at advantage.
