About the Role:

Digital.ai is looking for an Assistent Controller EMEA, for a temporary role, May-December 2025, to join an International growing accounting team. This is a rear entry-level opportunity to set foot in the Hi-Tech industry, working for a global US-based software company. You would be supporting multiple international companies within the group in Europe and the Middle East, in a rapidly scaling Private Equity environment. 

The ideal candidate will be an all-around team player, comfortable generating frequent financial reports for the management. You would be analyzing financial information in a well-organized manner and assist in all aspects related to finance and accounting in the EMEA region at the organization. 

You are a hands-on type of person, comfortable analyzing balance sheets and P&L to be ahead of the game, as well as supporting daily recurring basic accounting functions. You would report directly to the Regional Accounting Manager located in Israel. This is a hybrid position requiring being in the office twice a week (Netanya – Poleg).


What you will do:

  • Assist in Generating financial reports for senior leadership.
  • Monitor and analyze balance sheets, intercompany transactions, and accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assisting in the monthly closing process, including preparing working papers, calculating accruals, preparing reporting packages, and performing analytical procedures.
  • Be the liaison with the Israeli authorities.
  • Support the global transfer price practice.
  • Work with the company's external auditors and other consultants during interim and annual audits, tax filings and ongoing issues as needed across multiple jurisdictions in Europe and Israel.
  • Active engagement with daily accounting functions such as A/P, journal entries, report VAT, reconcile accounts, etc.
  • Support with ad-hoc financial and accounting projects.


What you will bring:

  • Available to work full time May - December 2025
  • BA in Economics and/or Accounting and a CPA - A must
  • 2 - 4 years experience in accounting (including internship) – a must, high-tech sector internship – an advantage
  • Post internship role in the Hi-Tech sector - an advantage
  • Working proficiency in English - written, oral and in writing - a must
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel - a must
  • Knowledge of US-GAAP – an advantage
  • Familiarity with NetSuite - an advantage
  • Strong technical, analytical, communication and presentation skills
  • Team player with cross functional collaboration skills
  • An eager learner who’s pro – active and self-motivated
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
