What will I be doing:
You will join the Darktrace Attack Surface Management (ASM) development team in The Hague that are responsible for expanding and improving the world’s leading ASM product.
Together with a diverse team of software engineers and data scientists you will be an essential part in driving our AI fuelled solutions.
You will be responsible for making sure every corner of the customer’s attack surface is discovered and will quickly become the expert on our customer’s digital brand DNA.
This DNA profile is key for our AI, and already at the start of a customer onboarding you are involved to make sure everything is covered.
You are welcome to work from our brand-new office in The Hague. The expectation is to work a minimum of 2 days a week from the office, though your colleagues would be happy to collaborate with you there as much as you’d like. As a Brand Specialist within the ASM team, in your role you will be responsible for, supporting the customer onboarding process by making sure the correct AI inputs lead to correct outputs. Enriching the AI classification models by validating each brand specific feature is correctly covered. As well as Providing feedback on AI outputs that help the team to improve the AI models. You will also be:
- Doing analysis and giving recommendations on examples of process inefficiencies,
- Prototyping behaviour for the AI models to learn from.
In summary, you are involved from the start (customer onboarding) until the end (AI recommendation) of the processes that discovers a customer’s attack surface.
We deliver the highest quality solutions to our customers and therefore a genuine interest in our solutions and drive to have our customers benefit from these is paramount to your success in this role.
What experience do I need:
This entry level role is a perfect starting point to entering or progressing in the cyber-security industry. We welcome applications from analysts who have a critical solution focused mindset combined with an analytical approach and problem-solving skills.
Additionally, it’s likely that you’ll be:
- Comfortable working autonomously and taking independent decisions as well as having the ability to work cooperatively within a team,
- Able to show knowledge or interest in cyber-security / malware forensics,
- Detail oriented coupled with the ability to see the big picture,
- Excited to learn and develop innovative solutions.
From a technical perspective you must be fluent in English, have an interest in cybersecurity, and a good knowledge of how the internet works. If you have experience with SQL or Python this would be desirable too but not essential.
