What skills do I need? 

  • Over 5 years of experience as an Account Executive and player/coach in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on manufacturing sales; SaaS sales experience is a plus.
  • Proven track record of quota attainment in an inside sales capacity
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Trained/certified in value-selling sales methodologies 
  • A positive, can-do attitude is a key quality to succeed on the Tulip team
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com is a plus; organize / report on all sales productivity on a consistent basis
  • Ability to quickly learn Salesforce, Outreach, Zoominfo, Linkedin Sales Navigator
  • Experience in cross functional collaborations and contributions to building highly functional commercial teams
  • English and German language proficiency


Key Responsibilities:

As the Senior Account Executive – General Manufacturing for the DACH Region, you will have the opportunity to build and maintain a book of business in an entrepreneurial fashion. You will be responsible for driving the sales of Tulip’s products and services across the DACH region while supporting and growing our presence in the market. This role is based in Munich and requires a proactive approach to both customer acquisition and account management.

  • Achieve ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) growth objectives for DACH business
  • Identify, evaluate and respond to key business issues of end users and develop, present and demonstrate Tulip capabilities to customers
  • Work with cross functional teams and individual contributors to achieve ARR growth objectives by leveraging Tulip’s various engineering, legal and procurement resources.
  • Confirm and provide territory management data: forecasts, account management documentation and activity reports to Tulip management providing basis for strategic account planning.
  • Develop, document and improve sales processes required for the DACH commercial team to be successful.
  • Responsible for building business and GTM strategy in the DACH region, in partnership with the Global Commercial and Leadership teams, regional business and channel partners.
  • Support, mentor and build the DACH commercial team, contribute to hire and onboard new team members
