Join Aprio's Human Resources team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Human Resources Manager to join their dynamic team.
Position Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper utilization of firm’s HRIS for all new and existing employee data, including but not limited to uploading data, creating organizational charts, helping with team member onboarding and offboarding, providing general administrative support for the HRIS function, and offering direct assistance to the HRIS system's end users.
- Assist with the relevant procedures and payroll processes.
- Handle benefit administration and renewal while dealing with a broker and the HRIS system.
- Employee relations - gives management regular advice on performance management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Establish connections with people in all offices and, as necessary, attend regularly scheduled meetings with team members and office leaders.
- Supports and guides HR Business Partners, office leaders, and other Partners and Managers when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate situations such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminating employees.
- Participate in weekly meetings with office leadership to discuss relative HR updates, announcements, etc.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to team member day-to-day management, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Assist with facility (OSH/compliance) requirements as needed
- Creating new benefit programs and enhancing engagement and participation in existing ones.
- Oversee, direct, and evaluate the outcomes of projects or assignments as needed.
- Creates activities, events, and initiatives to drive employee engagement and improve retention.
- Identify corporate social responsibility opportunities and create plans to ensure Aprio makes a difference in the community.
- Manages the recruitment process including talent attraction, interviews, hiring, and onboarding.
- Promotes and supports the "One Aprio" culture and values to all employees.
- Guides and encourages collaboration and better communication across teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree holder in Human Resources or related field
- Has excellent interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills
- HR Manager experience preferred
- At least 5-7 years of proven work experience as an HR Supervisor – hands on experience in Employee Onboarding, HR Administration, Total Rewards, Performance Management, Talent Development, Employee Relations & Engagement. (Preferably in the Professional Services Industry)
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Colombia Labor and Employment Laws required
- Experience using Workday (HRIS) desired
- Possession of HR Certification preferred (CHRP/PHR/SHRM)
