Our R&P Team:
The Global Rewards & Performance team at Opella is a group of motivated, energetic, and collaborative seasoned compensation and benefits professionals, with the common objective to improve business’ ability to attract, retain and motivate top talent by developing and operating compensation and benefits policies and practices.
This position is supporting Europe Region, around 6000 HC (Commercial, Scientific, Manufacturing & Supply and Support Functions). The first focus will be on France (70%) and Europeans countries (30%).
As a Rewards & Performance (R&P) Apprentice, you will be involved in supporting the deployment of key processes and cycles. You will also contribute to compensation and performance policies and ensuring consistency of data in HR tools. This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to work on projects with regional teams, participate in market compensation surveys, and different strategies across Europe countries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Benchmarking & salary proposals: Assisting in preparing salary proposals (internal equity) and conducting external market benchmarking. Supporting the team in analysing and recommending competitive compensation packages.
- Performance/compensation cycles: Supporting the launch of performance / compensation cycles. Contribute to data quality check and preparation for cycles.
- HR data analysis & reporting: Supporting in collecting and analysing HR data and consolidations. Support in participating to external compensation surveys.
- Gender pay initiatives and French index: Conducting the analysis on gender pay and index. Preparing presentations for the “Comité Social et Économique” (CSE) for each French entity.
- Supporting apprentices and interns offer and remuneration.
- Participation in preparation of French annual mandatory negotiations: Support the preparation of communication, recommendations, budgets, and data analysis for annual negotiations.
- Cross-functional Project Support: Collaborate with European teams on cross-functional projects on compensation, benefits, and performance strategies. (onepager on benefits, offer tool, pay transparency, creation of R&P communication, management of data knowledge…).
About you :
- Education: Master’s degree (Bac+5) in human resources
- Strong proficiency in HR data analysis, Excel & PowerPoint
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, curiosity, and strong communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Languages: fluent in French & English (both written and spoken)
- Desirable: familiarity with HRIS systems
