The task of a Showing Specialist is to receive a brief call from a buyer's agent, enter the time when the house/apartment can be viewed in the web application Appointment Center (AC) (inbound call), and to call the seller's agent or the property owner themselves to confirm viewing appointments (outbound call). Showing Specialists are not expected to sell, market, or troubleshoot online with clients.

About the role

The Appointment specialist is the heartbeat of the company. This position involves extensive telephone interaction, facilitating showings by handling both inbound and outbound calls with real estate agents, homeowners, tenants, home appraisers, and home inspectors.

  • Scheduling, rescheduling, confirming, and canceling real estate appointments.

  • Facilitate appointments for showings, previews, inspections, appraisals, and BPO’s.

  • Update new and existing MLS listing showing instructions, including restrictions and exceptions.

  • Solicit instruction updates from listing agents by phone and email to ensure the appointment center has complete updated showing instructions, phone numbers, and lockbox data.

  • Answer questions regarding appointment detail.

  • Resolve showing issues; make extra calls to include but not limited to handle the missing lockbox, lockbox not working, running late inquiries, resend confirmations, security alarm issues as needed.

  • Merge relisted MLS listings with new or multiple MLS’s.

  • Support listing agents requiring assistance with email notifications.

  • Resend agent website login information.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

Who you are

  • Great articulation and pronunciation; friendly and outgoing phone voice.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must have a great attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.

  • Minimum of 6 months customer service experience.

  • High School diploma required.

  • Required basic computer skills (i.e. typing and navigating between programs/screens to enter data and process information).

  • Flexibility in schedule availability to meet company needs.

  • Consistently meet 90-135 sec average handle time, and 90% QA score.

  • Must be able to maintain a professional appearance and attitude.

  • Must be dependable and punctual in attendance.
