Join InterSystems Managed Services as an Application Support Engineer and help manage mission-critical healthcare platforms like HealthShare and IRIS for Health. You’ll ensure system stability, performance, and uptime across fully managed environments—while solving complex issues, collaborating with technical teams, and supporting our customers with excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, monitor, and support InterSystems platforms in production environments.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support, resolve incidents, and lead root cause analysis.
- Use observability tools to detect and address system performance issues.
- Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams on fixes and enhancements.
- Manage patches and upgrades with minimal disruption.
- Create clear documentation and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and respond to critical issues.
- Automate tasks and continuously improve support workflows.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in application support, system administration, or technical ops.
- Strong Linux skills, including Apache and scripting (Shell, Python, ObjectScript).
- Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or Splunk.
- Solid understanding of incident management and troubleshooting in production.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable in 24/7 support models and on-call rotations.
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Experience with InterSystems HealthShare, IRIS, or Caché.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Exposure to healthcare IT or compliance-driven environments (HIPAA, HITRUST).
- Knowledge of DevOps tools (Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines).
