Job Title : Applications Solutions Analyst
Job Location : Gurugram
Job Details : Responsible to act as an intermediary between the brokerage operations community, the controllership team and the deal management (SFDC, Callidus, Workday, Payroll) technical community to frontline for all questions related to Operations/Desktop Procedure and how technical platforms support the expected outcome. This role would report to the Sr. Manager Corporate Solutions – Commissions Platforms
Roles and Responsibilities
· Technical
o User Setup and maintenance
o Ability to reconcile data integrations across all platforms (SFDC to Workday to Callidus). This may include the development and maintenance of a process to validate the movement of data throughout the platform.
o Coordinate and work with help desk team to develop Knowledge Base Articles
o Ability to coordinate with Operations and controllership user’s to identify functional enhancements which benefit the organization as a whole
o Schedule and run reports as required
o Perform various data loads as required
o Database querying
o Report Development
o Some experience with scripting languages like Groovy or Python preferred (but not required)
o Serve as tier 1 support to troubleshoot any issues within the Callidus application and work with users to resolve, or escalate as needed.
· Problem Solving/Critical Thinking
o Ability to investigate the root cause and escalation to the proper technology teams (while keeping other teams in loop).
o Ability to reverse engineer a problem to rectify payment reconciliation.
· Training
o Ability to train the user base on Existing functionalities and Desktop Procedures.
o Enhancement web training for the field with releases or adhoc basis
· Processes, System and operational
o Document and maintain user manuals for processes to process commission payroll
o Partner with business and technology partners to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements into technical requirements, as needed.
Testing
o Collaborate with operations and controllership to conduct user acceptance testing (UAT)
o UAT participation in testing across all platforms
o Primary focus on regression testing
o Enhancement web training for the field with every release
Requirements
· Bachelor's Degree or Professional Industry Designation
· 2+ years of professional IT work experience
· Or any similar combination of education and experience
· Strong understanding of Brokerage, Marketing, Research, enterprise applications, and business processes
· Experience writing business requirements and User Acceptance Test Cases and Scripts
· Proven ability to gather business needs and develop technical requirements
· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
· Solid business judgment, collaboration, and critical thinking skills
· Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
· Ability to understand business functionality and translate it into application requirements
· Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in work products
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
Physical Requirements
· Involves work of a general office nature; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours a day
· May involve periods of standing, such as operating at a copier/fax/scanner
· Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and type
· Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
· Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, graphics, and computer displays
· Ability to observe details at close range.
