Duties & Responsibilities:

Position Overview:
We are seeking a technically proficient Applications Engineer to serve as the key technical expert for our radio test products. This role involves working closely with customers and internal teams to provide pre and post-sales support, product demonstrations, integration, and ongoing technical assistance. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in RF engineering and a passion for solving complex technical challenges in the radio frequency domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Engagement & Support:
  • Act as the primary technical resource for customers and internal teams, delivering engaging product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Assist with pre-sales technical support by understanding customer requirements and crafting tailored test solutions.
  • Provide on-site and remote support for product installations, integrations, and troubleshooting.
• Technical Expertise & Development:
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on radio test products, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of RF technologies and industry standards.
  • Develop and document test procedures, application notes, and best practice guidelines for customers.
  • Collaborate with R&D and product management teams to relay field feedback and drive continuous product improvement.
• Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop technical proposals and support the sales cycle with robust technical insights.
  • Deliver technical training sessions to customers and internal staff to ensure optimal product usage.
  • Create clear, detailed technical documentation and reports that contribute to product and process enhancements.

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in applications engineering, RF test engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of radio frequency (RF) principles, test and measurement techniques, and familiarity with RF instrumentation.
• Experience with radio communication standards such as P25, TETRA, and DMR.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel for on-site customer support and training as required.

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience with RF test equipment and test software.
• Familiarity with the design and implementation of RF systems and networks.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
