Job Description
Renishaw’s Industrial Automation Product Division (IAPD) is currently seeking to recruit an intelligent and enthusiastic Application Engineer based in the Renishaw France office (Marne la Vallée) to support the team in its development of revolutionary new products in the world of robotics.
Responsibilities

Contribute to new and current product development by way of testing hardware and software from an end user’s perspective.

Provide Integrators with training and support in the use of Renishaw IAPD product range.

Help integrators to ensure consistent and high levels of product installation.

Build an extensive knowledge base on various industrial robot platforms.

Develop practices and processes that lead to the widespread adoption of IAPD products

Technical contact for customers (current and new).

Regular follow up with R&D team and IAPD application teams worldwide.

Manage IAPD showroom in France to be able to easily and quickly setup demonstrations and / or tests.
Requirements
-
Degree in General Engineering
-
Experience in programming and integration of industrial robot systems.

Strong Industrial Metrology knowledge.

A high level of computer literacy in standard Microsoft Office software

Basic knowledge in programming and mechanic

A logical approach to problem solving.

Practical hands-on product support.

A full driving license.
-
A full valid passport for overseas travel. Occasional local and overseas travel to customer sites and other IAPD sites will be required.

French language as mother tongue or bilingual.

English C1 equivalent (TOEIC > 850 IELTS > 7.5 or Advanced Cambridge exams).
