  • Work closely with customers and distributors to understand their needs and challenges and provide technical support and guidance on the use of IFF cultures and enzymes in cheese production.
  • Conduct trials, demonstrations, and trainings at customer sites or IFF facilities, and evaluate the performance and quality of cheese products.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to customers and distributors on how to optimize their cheese processes and formulations and troubleshoot any issues or complaints.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers in the cheese industry, and position IFF as a trusted partner and solution provider.
  • Collaborate with internal and external technical experts, such as R&D, sales, marketing, and regulatory, to share knowledge, best practices, and insights on the cheese market and applications.
  • Monitor and communicate market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and new opportunities for IFF products and solutions in the cheese segment.
  • Participate in trade shows, seminars, webinars, and other events to promote IFF's cheese capabilities and offerings.
  • Travel throughout Italy and occasionally to other locations in Europe to visit customers and distributors, and support IFF's cheese business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in food science, dairy science, biotechnology, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the cheese industry and application, with knowledge of cheese production processes, formulations, ingredients, and quality parameters.
  • Expertise in the use of cultures and enzymes in cheese production, and familiarity with IFF's portfolio of dairy solutions.
  • Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, in Italian and English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, and adapt to different cultures and environments.
