Application Quality Analyst/Tester - Experienced
We are seeking a QA Analyst/Tester with proven experience to join our team and ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our IT solutions. This role involves designing and executing manual and automated test cases, collaborating across teams, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in software quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and oversee quality assurance procedures to ensure IT solutions meet company standards and user requirements.
- Design and execute test plans, manual and automated test scripts, and test cases aligned with project objectives.
- Conduct system, integration, functional, data validation, and performance testing, including the support of user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Utilize test automation tools and scripts to streamline and enhance test cycle execution, where feasible.
- Leverage test management tools to document test plans, track results, and report defects.
- Investigate and recommend new testing technologies to enhance the testing lifecycle.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, improve processes, and enhance test efficiency.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced QA professionals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
- QA professional certification (ISTQB, QAI) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project life cycle principles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Advanced understanding of QA processes, testing methodologies, automation tools, and frameworks.
- Experience in testing across distributed systems and mainframe environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Pay Range:
$53,200.00 - $78,550.00
Salary is commensurate to experience, location, etc.
