Job Description
DUTIES: Research, design, and develop computer software or specialized utility. Duties to include: create application and system design documents; develop applications, reports, and systems; estimate component and application level work efforts; design, develop, and implement standard business rules; deliver personal tasks on time and leads the delivery of tasks for natural or cross-functional workgroup; participate on initiatives with deliverables and meet quality standards on time; lead cross-functional initiatives with deliverables and meet quality standards on time; create RFI/RFP requests and responses for vendor product evaluations; fulfill end-user requests; provide on-call support as required; identify and resolve technical/business system issues; identify application enhancements, design, develop, test and deploy solutions; and mentor peers on technical and business processes. Telecommuting is available for this position from anywhere in the U.S.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related computer occupation. Position requires three (3) years of experience in the following:
- COBOL and JCL;
- VSAM, CICS, DB2, Oracle, Datacom, and Ideal;
- TSO, Changeman, NDVR, Viasmart, Expeditor, and Ctrl-M;
- C# and SQL Server;
- SSMS (Microsoft SQL Server Management system);
- VSS (Visual Source Safe);
- Microsoft Visual Studio; and
- MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
Additional Information
Salary: $104,049
The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
