We are now looking for an Application Developer for Property and Casualty Insurance domain to join our successful multinational team in Bulgaria and help develop applications for our Insurance Business customers in Europe. Together we grow professionally and take part in the integration of a global platform for product and policy administration – a complete solution for managing the whole insurance business, which has more than 100 implementations in 25 countries across the world.

Daily challenges

  • Participate in daily activities regarding program coding, testing and implementation
  • Analyze system and business requirements and develop specifications
  • Work closely with client and account representatives on project activities
  • Deliver high-quality, secure, maintainable, and efficient software
  • Cultivate creative problem-solving, delivering holistic and streamlined solutions aligned with business needs
  • Enhance, upgrade, and optimize existing software solutions for continuous improvement
  • Perform code and peer reviews while following the best practices
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical and or user documentation to ensure knowledge transfer and transparency Provide mentoring and guidance to other team member
  • Stay up to date on industry best practices, trends, and emerging technologies.

Experience and skills required

  • 3+ years of experience with GraphTalk 
  • Experience in P&C Insurance domain and knowledge of Contract domain is optional.
  • Knowledge in the Financial or Insurance sector
  • Understanding and ability to work in agile Scrum and DevOps environments
  • Analytical problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Practical experience with REST and SOAP API technology would be an advantage
  • Good command of English as the working language
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude and motivation to learn.
