We currently have a vacancy for an Application Cloud Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Ispra, Italy. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks
- Analysis of the integration of different information systems;
- Data analysis and data modelling;
- Design and development of architecture components and building blocks;
- Review of the architecture of existing systems to migrate of existing system in the cloud;
- Provide programming support for the existing Java/Tomcat components and applications;
- Prepare test plans and support the execution of unit, integration, and system testing.
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Experience in large-scale textual data processing, Web applications and Web services design and development;
- Extensive knowledge of OpenSearch and/or ElasticSearch;
- Extensive knowledge of Java 11+ as well as Spring and Spring Boot;
- Extensive knowledge of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) as well as Linux;
- In depth knowledge of Service Oriented Architectures (REST), micro-services, Tomcat and underlining architectures;
- Very good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture;
- Very good knowledge of interoperability technology (web services, message-oriented middleware, service-oriented bus, event architecture);
- In depth knowledge of Java programming language including I/O, concurrency (processes, threads, etc.), localization;
- Very good knowledge of Angular Material and Angular State Management Systems (i.e. NGXS, NgRx etc);
- Very good knowledge of Servlet containers;
- Very good knowledge of Java testing frameworks (i.e. JUnit, Mockito);
- Very good knowledge of Front-end testing frameworks (i.e. Jasmine, Karma, Cypress);
- Very good knowledge of Relational DBMS programming including SQL and JDBC;
- Good knowledge of HTTP, TCP/IP, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, XML, XSL, JSON;
- Good knowledge of Business process analysis;
- Good knowledge of Web security, authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, Open ID Connect);
- Good knowledge of Cloud Computing;
- Knowledge of ECMAScript and Main JavaScript frameworks (Angular, JQuery, D3.js, ExtJS);
- Knowledge of Python (TorchServe);
- Excellent command of the English language.
