Appian and Java Developer

Verisure, operating under two brand names (Securitas Direct & Verisure) is seeking a talented, innovative, passionate Appian and Java Developer to join the Technology HUB in Madrid. We are looking for a highly driven, talented and experienced Engineer to manage and develop high quality applications Operation. Someone ready to become an application owner who is able to lead application operation.

Responsibilities will include:

• Have deep knowledge of the Appian SW into his domain and have technical skills to modify and update if necessary. Therefore, this person will take part in the developments, as a referent member of the team.
• Responsible for the quality of the delivered product and encourage the team to achieve a continuous improvement.
• Ensures automatic tests are written and performed
• Work integrated with the scrum teams as a cross member
• Responsible of the Appian platform and development.

Location

Permanent hire can be based in Madrid

Experiences and Qualifications

As result, we are looking for a high potential / top performer individual who has an analytical mind-set. The ideal candidate will have:

• High level of English
• At least 2 years as an Appian Developer.
• Java EE
• Experience working with SOAP and REST
• PL/SQL and SQL Advance Knowledge
• Agile methodologies knowledge

For this role, is not mandatory, but it will be considered as an advantage the experience with:

• Microservices (Kubernetes)
• CD Knowledge
• IDEs (visual studio, eclipse)
• Framework Spring
