Job purpose:
As the Appetizers Sales Support you will play a vital role in executing McCain's strategy plan, aimed at strengthening our market position in the appetizer business. Working within our Private Label Division, you will assist in expanding volumes and customer base across retail and food service channels in European and export markets. With a focus on providing exceptional customer service and operational support, you will collaborate with the sales team to streamline processes, drive efficiency, and foster growth. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist sales team with administrative tasks such as preparing sales documents, sales reports, proposals, and contracts
  • Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments to ensure timely delivery of replies and services to the customers
  • Provide excellent service by promptly addressing customer inquiries to the right persons in the organization and resolving issues
  • Maintain updated customer data
  • Coordinate with the different departments to ensure sales materials are up to date
  • Assist in the organization and coordination of sales events, conferences, and trade shows
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
  • Be a key contact for customers and prospects for any queries
  • Support the sales team in forecast collection
  • Manage the administrative follow-up of the prospects before/after the exhibitions
  • Transmit the statistics or commission reports to customers
  • Coordinate and follow the sample requests until delivery


About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles preferred
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, market dynamics, and customer needs
  • Languages: Dutch & English are mandatory
  • Proficiency in Pack Office and CRM software
  • High level of adaptability in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Ability to work in an international environment, with an international sales team
