Job Description
• Work closely with clients to design, implement, and optimize observability solutions for complex IT environments.
• Provide expertise in tools and technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack, OpenTelemetry, and others.
• Design and implement monitoring and logging strategies for cloud-native applications, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Support clients in achieving proactive monitoring and troubleshooting of systems and applications, improving uptime and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate observability best practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams on observability tools, techniques, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to observability systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in observability and share insights with the team.
Qualifications
- You have completed a higher IT education or have at least 5 years of experience in monitoring with observability tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, Datadog, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Elasticsearch, OpenTelemetry, and other similar technologies.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architecture.
- You have a strong knowledge of web and application server technologies and concepts.
- Experience with logging, metrics, tracing, and monitoring in modern application environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and microservices architectures.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex systems and identify root causes.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- A passion for technology and a proactive approach to solving problems.
- You can express yourself fluently in Dutch, communicating in English is not a problem for you. A good knowledge of French is a plus.
