Asia Pacific Crop Protection Principal Manager, A&ESMission

Act as a Principal’s Business Owner within the Azelis organization and as the Azelis Value Proposition Promoter within the Principal’s organization.

Bring a transversal vision across the Azelis organization on business decisions related to Principals.

Act as a role model within the Azelis organization, aiming to cascade Principal management core competencies and best practices in the company.

The APAC Group Principal Manager will report to APAC Market Segment Director.
Main Accountabilities

Co-Chair Azelis/Principal steering committee to ensure alignment between Azelis’ and Principals’ business strategies and objectives.

Provide Sales & Development support across the APAC countries while maintaining and developing relationship to retain existing business and gain new business.

Develop, validate and lead Principal’s market implementation plan across Azelis at the highest possible return for the company. Deliver Principals’ market implementation plan (growth, sales, volumes, project lists, application targets, etc.).

Challenge, endorse and own Azelis total budget for Principals. Deliver it in terms of growth, sales, and GM2.

Foster, ensure and coordinate business communication / knowledge transfer between Azelis and Principals.

Develop and manage a multilevel relationship network between Azelis and Principals.

Identify, analyze, and pursue opportunities to expand existing mandates with Principals.

Seek solutions to continuously promote and upgrade Azelis value proposition and service to Principals.

Develop market and competitive intelligences around Principals.

Ensure that Azelis business leaders endorse Principals’ strategy and objectives.

Structure and deliver business communication and knowledge transfer required to ensure business transparency, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Manage and develop Principal product portfolio within Azelis. Lead purchase price negotiations with Principals and price list coordination.

Ensure that the relevant Azelis sales and product management teams are adequately trained to effectively promote and sell the range so that we complement the promotion of products from our external Principals.

Enhance the quality of the relationship network between Azelis and Principals.

Key business metrics of Azelis budget (Volume & GM2) and Principal’s MI plan.

Skills & Competences

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Chemical Engineering or equivalent qualification is preferred.

Minimum 8 - 10 years of progressive experience in commercial roles and A&ES related technical fields.

Excellent knowledge of commercial processes.

Ability to prepare factual and concise reports.

Precise and well-structured communication, presentation and professional speaking skills.

Good business acumen (build plans, understand impact of decisions on Azelis business and financial performance).

Strong analytical skills. Can handle complexity and translate it in clear goals and objectives.
