The essence of the role: AP Analyst
1. As an AP Analyst you will be reporting under Head of Account Payable and full fill following responsibilities:
2. Accountable for managing the day-to-day volumes in the team
3. Ensure PTP deliverables in terms of GRNI reconciliations are met and minimize the open GR’s in the system. In parallel, explore automation and process efficiency opportunities resulting in process improvements. Assist the team in day to day operational management and actively participate in discussions with key stakeholders
4. Responsible for Project related activities from Functional lead and ensure to deliver on time with expected quality
5. Driving OE and techniques across team and educate the team members
6. Identifying Automation/Transformation across the process
Key Tasks and Accountabilities:
· Manage the day to day volumes by ensuring PTP deliverables in terms of invoices/tickets/reports processed on time and vendors paid/requests actioned on time are met
· Deliver operational SLAs and KPIs for all respective zones/countries
· Effective Query management and on time resolution to stakeholders
· Can create, design and implement an improvement solution in their own function/sub-function with minimal supervision
· Should be able to create and drive effective work allocation and back-up plans without biasness among team members
· Interact and coordinate with various stakeholders internally as well as in the zone solutions team and business to fix the issues during the process and later do a root cause analysis and build preventive controls
· End-to-End PTP process knowledge/understanding and Attention to detail & accuracy
· Effective communication skills and lead discussions with key stakeholders
· Effective data analysis and presentation skills
· Collaborate with Requestors and vendors to close the open GR’s and show a declining trend in the value of open invoices
· Drive daily team huddles and meetings with clear MOMs
· Use the process to positively impact the EBITDA and Working capital values reported every month
· In-depth working experience in SAP
· Should be able to support Functional Lead for all the projects related to Transformation
· Volume Analysis with Time & Motion study of deliverables for effective team productivity
· Manage and build effective relationships between GCC, business unit and stakeholders
· MICS / Global Risk Management / Audit compliance target management, including creation of sustainability model and action plans for open issues (MICS, GRM and EP Audit with 100% Quality)
· Ensure maintenance/update of the process training documentation (L5) as per standards
· Ensure PDCA management methodology is used for improving overall team performance or negative results
· Perform other duties as delegated by the Functional Lead
· Creating all the Decks (PRP, BRM, Etc.) as per timelines provided
· Responsibility as a backup for the Associate manager with the team in routine meetings when needed
· Invests time in self-development and motivate team members as well to do the same
Skills & Experience
- You are a strong finance professional (2-4 years of experience)
- You must have proven experience of working with USA region, customers.
- Academic qualification: Should be a Graduate/ PG in Commerce/Finance from a recognized institution
- End to End Understanding of Accounts payable process and Upstream & Downstream processes related to AP Process (i.e. entire PTP)
- Knowledge on Europe and US Tax implications will be an added advantage
- Preferred experience on systems - SAP By Design, Great Plains, MS AX, Bill.com, SAP Concur
- You have experience of working with global stakeholders across different time zones
