Do Work That Matters:
The New to Bank Analyst is a transaction-focused role involving research, analysis, financial modelling, credit writing, and risk assessment. We are looking for experienced, analytically minded candidates with a passion for client acquisition and balance sheet growth. You will be integral to our wider relationship team, collaborating with colleagues, senior management, product specialists and other internal stakeholders.
More Specifically, You Will:
- Assess the viability and coordinate the execution of transactions;
- Undertake credit analysis, financial modelling, and produce credit applications;
- Support the Relationship Executives on specific finance transactions through structured credit and financial modelling;
- Prepare and present pitches to potential clients including board level, business owners and senior management teams
We want to hear from you if you have:
- Rapid comprehension of intricate transactions, strong accounting fundamentals, with the ability to exercise commercial judgement, and critical thinking.
- Advanced MS Excel skills and a strong track record in financial modelling.
- A keen focus on risk and compliance.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and time management skills, and corporate banking experience.
- A Business or Commerce degree with an Accounting or Finance major.
