The Analyst, Risk Management handles monitoring and escalating vendor and subcontractor insurance compliance, fielding inquiries from internal and external partners, producing reports and trend analysis, and supporting the Risk Management team with day-to-day risk management functions. This position serves as the liaison between the certificate of insurance management vendor and internal and external partners.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitors the activities of the company's certificate of insurance management vendor with an emphasis on identifying process improvements.
  • Maintains vendors and subcontractors linked to insurance tracking system and reviews expired Certificates of Insurance (COI) from vendors and subcontractors. This will include insurance declaration pages and endorsements when required.
  • Updates internal and external reports and systems with information about risk incidents, claims, litigated matters, and/or insurance documentation across all lines of business.
  • Produces routine reports for internal and external partners and program trend analysis.
  • Maintains documentation related to certificate of insurance program including, but not limited to, quick reference tools, intranet website information, and written policies and procedures.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to implement risk controls.
  • Demonstrates excellent project management skills with the ability to adapt well and apply various technologies to meet risk management needs from all areas within the company.
  • Receives, audits, and processes department invoices for timely and accurate payment.
  • Supports Risk Management department in responding to requests from internal and external parties and assists in maintaining claim-related or insurance-related documentation.

Qualifications

Education & Years of Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED plus 3-5 years of work experience

Additional Experience

  • Experience in risk management and/or large size business
  • Experience with risk analytics
  • Prior experience with reviewing insurance provisions in contracts with a strong understanding of insurance terms and requirements
  • Experience working in a healthcare organization preferred

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
  • Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

    Pay Rate$27.25 - $32.25 Hourly

    Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
