Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented analyst to assist in the development of the Risk and Compliance Technology program at GEICO. This individual will be responsible for the process, reporting, and cross-collaboration that ensures visibility and completion of items affecting GEICO’s risk and compliance portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, regulatory compliance, risk prevention, and trending and analysis. A successful candidate will be highly organized with strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, lead meetings and handle multiple projects concurrently.
Job Responsibilities:
- Program Management:
Oversee the reporting, process improvement, and engagement between key stakeholders to align on risk, compliance, and control gaps to include how they are discovered, mitigated, and avoided. - Risk and Compliance Reporting:
Ensure the lifecycle of every risk and compliance item is visible and reported regularly to senior management. Utilize data management and trending to highlight recurring risks, regulatory change impacts, root cause, and opportunities for improvement. - Process Improvement & Strategy:
Identify opportunities to streamline risk and compliance related processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. Lead efforts to implement best practices and new technologies for risk and compliance management. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with product development, finance, legal, and operations teams to:- support the launch of new insurance products,
- prevent and mitigate risk and compliance issues,
- and integrate new and existing control measures.
- Risk Management:
Understand the implications of risk, compliance, and control gaps to ensure all necessary stakeholders are aware and engaged from end-to-end.
Qualifications:
- Highly organized with excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate work between a number of different departments across the organization.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience using ADO preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing in business or related field a plus.
Location: This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office either in: Chevy Chase, MD; Dallas, TX; New York, NY; or Fredericksburg, VA
Annual Salary
$64,575.00 - $129,150.00
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
