The policy analyst will conduct policy research and analysis on clean energy business’ regulatory and policies. The ideal candidate will have proven policy and research skills with experience in public policy analysis, research and writing that will have a direct impact on current operations as well as future opportunities of Gentari.
Responsibilities
- Analysis of both qualitative and quantitative data and regulatory research on clean energy policies, standards, political trends, processes, and regulations at local, regional, and global level;
- Identify policy enhancements or developments required across operating markets and markets of interest that are favorable to further Gentari’s objectives;
- Drafting, analyzing and presenting policy papers, correspondence, briefings, discussion papers and related educational material;
- Translate and consolidate research and analysis into clear visualisation or story to promote favorable policies to critical key stakeholders;
- Developing and maintaining key stakeholder relations;
- Monitoring and evaluating the impacts of policy formulation and implementation;
- Assisting to develop and implement policy initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics/Public Policy/Strategic Communication or any related field;
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in relevant fields;
- Excellent research and analytical skills;
- Ability to communicate clearly with expert and non-expert audiences;
- Keen interest in clean energy industry and public policy;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on analytical products in a fast-paced environment.
