OVERVIEW

At CR, Operations and Analytics is the backbone of the People & Culture team. This team keeps the wheels turning and the processes running smoothly, and translates the data to help drive change in our organization. 

The Analyst, People Operations supports the data needs of the People & Culture team by ensuring the integrity of our people-related systems (including all aspects of UKG, our HRIS system), and providing reports and data analysis that inform decision making for the team and organization. As a member of the Operations and Analytics team, you’ll report to the Director, Operations and Analytics.

This is a hybrid position.The successful candidate must be able to travel to our Yonkers, NY headquarters at least two times per month.This position is not eligible for sponsorship.  

How You’ll Make An Impact

CR's People & Culture Team is committed to building and sustaining a high-performing, equitable workplace. Your data and visualizations will help us strengthen initiatives, improve communication, and guide decision-making to achieve our goals. On a daily basis, you may:

  • Provide data analysis and visualizations that help drive guide decision-making.
  • Take the lead in administering, monitoring, and implementing changes to the time and attendance module in our HRIS.
  • Become a subject matter expert in specialized HRIS modules, offering guidance and support as needed.
  • Collaborate in or lead workgroups and process improvement projects, always striving to make things better.
  • Constantly look for opportunities to use technology to streamline and improve our people-related processes.
  • Ensure the integrity of our data and HRIS systems through thorough testing, auditing, and support during system upgrades, security administration, and annual open enrollment activities.
  • Take part in system upgrades and enhancements, contributing your expertise to improve our People Operations.

ABOUT YOU You’ll Be Highly Rated If:

  • You’ve earned the degree. You have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, human resources management, business administration or related field OR an Associates degree plus 2- years of directly relevant work experience. If you have not earned a degree, you must have 4 years of directly relevant work experience. 
  • You’ve supported HR. Experience in a human resource team including responsibility for entering, collecting, or reporting people-related data using an HRIS.
  • You are data-driven. One year of experience in a data analysis role, including responsibility for creating standing and ad hoc reports as well as data visualization.

You'll Be One of Our Top Picks If:

  • You have the experience. You have 5-years of experience in a data analysis role that include responsibility for creating complex reports, generating data visualization.
  • You are certified. You've earned a  Human Resource Information Professional Certification (HRIP).
  • You understand the back end. You have experience holding primarily responsibility for managing major system updates, upgrades, and modifications.
  • You know the system(s). Your experience includes working within  Oracle, SAP, Concur, or similar systems.

FAIR PAY AND A JUST WORKPLACE

At Consumer Reports, we are committed to fair, transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation.The target salary range for this position is $80K-$90K. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall near the middle of this range. Compensation for the successful candidate will be informed by the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience.
