Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
- Present and manage the FATCA CRS and IT3 MI to respective stakeholders
- Engage weekly with the Line Managers to identify new report requirements
- Supporting respective Stakeholders by building and maintaining relationships with relevant stakeholders
- Training colleagues and Stakeholders towards report production for FATCA CRS and IT3
- Tax Authority Portal Information Management
- FATCA CRS Report Production, compilation and submission to relevant stakeholders
- FATCA CRS data reconciliation and remediation
- Ensure all FATCA CRS data goes through proper remediation to eliminate the risk of under reporting FATCA CRS data.
- Have knowledge and understanding of all FATCA CRS policies and regulations to ensure that you can advise stakeholders on any FATCA CRS queries.
- Ensure that respective stakeholders comply, understand and deliver on expected deliverables by regularly engaging them.
- Identify any risks within the respective business units, and take necessary measures to eliminate any risks identified
- Review FATCA CRS reports to ensure that all customer classifications are accurately Classified
- Annual FATCA CRS reporting to Tax Authorities customer tax status and annual validation processing
- Follow up with stakeholders to ensure they remediate and obtain relevant tax documentation from clients
- Ensure monthly data loads are completed accurately and remediate any issues that occur
- Verify data against Production systems to ensure accuracy
- Participate and control Attestation Process
- Submission of annual / half year third party data submissions
- Obtain/verify/approve production runs for IT3 Tax certificates and the creation process thereof
- Liaise between stakeholders and relevant Tax Authorities
- Performing of interest calculations and verification against multiple sources
Education and Experience Required:
- NQF Level 4 : Grade 12
- 3 - 5yrs experience in Financial Services management information
Knowledge and Skills:
- Written and oral communication
- Analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and management of big data volumes
- Proficient in MS Office
- Ability to learn and work on different technological systems
- Background knowledge of the Tax Reporting Standards would be an advantage
- Complete complex FATCA CRS processing, operational duties in support of assigned area. Resolve issues as required.
- A working knowledge of the basic mechanics of FATCA/CRS is advantageous
