Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.
As we have grown in both size and impact, we are looking to find an HR Analyst to join our team in Houston. This person will report to our Director, Human Resources and work directly with our HR Business Partners. The ideal candidate will have experience developing the reporting function in a high growth environment with a focus on providing insightful data to our leaders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop standard reports for ongoing internal customer needs across all areas of human resources
- Provide analytical support and data analysis on projects and human resource metrics
- Conduct analyses to assess impact on business metrics and provide strategic recommendations
- Synthesize and convey analytical findings through presentations and other visual management tools to display trends and insights
- May conduct or assist with job analysis, job classification audit (exempt or non-exempt status), and maintain grade structure
- Provides project coordination including preparing project plans, overall tracking, and monitoring of project activities
- Participates in the annual budget process and maintains staffing plans
- Processes employee changes to ensure accuracy and timely submission to HRIS
- Facilitates the on-boarding and orientation process with new employees
- Assists with HR projects and initiatives that support key business objectives
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a reporting function—exporting data from reporting systems and manipulating data, creating charts, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Strong PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills
- A high degree of accuracy, confidentiality and timeliness is required for the completion of assigned projects
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data.
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to use and navigate HRIS for reporting, etc.
- Understands common HR concepts, practices, procedures, and related employment legislation
- Ability to work independently and within a team while assuming responsibility; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills
