Summary:
Provides consultation regarding the HR systems roadmap to include system upgrades, strategic business needs and regulatory requirements. Utilizes strategic thought process and leadership for the integrity of HR Data administration across the enterprise, leveraging the Workday HRIS application.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supports the efforts of HR team members participating in functional and regression testing for all system fixes, upgrades, patches, and other maintenance, including semi-annual Workday releases and new system features. Monitors progress and timeliness of testing.
- Collaborates with Covetrus stakeholders to expand the use and functionality of the Workday HRIS application. Executes responsibilities that include gathering requirements, designing the solution, testing the functionality, deploying the tool and training end users. Ensures integrity of the system and optimal functionality.
- Partners with Legal, the Pan-European GDPR lead and other global data compliance representatives in executing and advancing the HR Data Quality and Governance Strategy. Supports the creation and execution of procedures in support of data privacy in compliance with GDPR rules and regulations.
- Validates and maintains HRIS procedures and controls promoting data quality and integrity by ensuring system output is monitored, interfaces and systems are validated, and data collection is in compliance. Validates that individual receiving HR data, either via system, report or integration—are qualified recipients with a valid business need. Documents business justification for approving receipt of HR data.
- Collaborates with Technology teams on issues and initiatives impacting Workday, such as single sign on functionality, integrations, cybersecurity, and IT risk.
- Establishes and maintains HR technology security profiles in collaboration with HR function owners and stakeholders. Ensure system security is administered appropriately by establishing procedures, documentation and routine audits.
- Partners with the Human Resources and Technology teams continuously look for process improvements in Workday processes to effectively support business operations and end-user needs.
- Facilitate complex Human Resources projects involving systems and/or business processes to obtain business goals and operational objectives. Leverages HR, Workday and business process expertise to influence technology.
- Develop recurring and ad-hoc reports regarding employee demographics and HR metrics for compliance and business reporting purposes. Uses Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT), Workday Studio, and other related solutions.
Required Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor's degree OR 4 additional years of directly related analytical work experience in Information Systems, Business, Human Resources or a related area in lieu of a degree.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing strategic initiatives for an HR Information System - Workday: establishing system roadmaps, following governance processes, collaborating business needs
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting Workday: configuration, report writing, testing.
- Workday experience is required for this role. Candidates without Workday experience will not be considered.
Technical Skills
- Strong working knowledge of global HR data privacy requirements and policies
- Demonstrated collaboration with senior level stakeholders to understand business or system requirements and to socialize solutions
- Considerable knowledge of laws, regulations, principles, procedures and practices related to Human Resources
- Strong working knowledge of Workday HRIS systems/applications
- Proven project management skills, which include leading meetings, providing regular project updates, adhering to project deadlines, and escalating issues and risks
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Detail-oriented with an unwavering commitment to pursue relevant and accurate data
- Maintains confidentiality and discretion; provides data on a need-to-know basis
- Results-oriented with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple, time-sensitive projects and focusing on the quality of work delivered
- Strong consulting and influencing skills
- Superior written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary may vary depending on factors such as confirmed job-related skills, experience, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
However, the pay range for this position is as follows. Sales Positions are eligible for a Variable Incentive
$53,300.00-$76,200.00
