Group Summary:
The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assumes responsibility for employee recruitment, hiring, and staffing at all levels as well as coordinating with staffing agencies and posting job opportunities.
  • Responsible for administrative functions including benefits, leave administration, payroll, door badge access, and personal protective equipment machines.
  • Works with leadership to provide advice, ensure consistency of policy implementation and documentation, and monitor practices to ensure compliance with the law.
  • Participates in disciplinary actions up to and including separations, performance management, and conflict resolution situations.
  • Works with employees to resolve personal concerns and issues relating to the Magna Employee Charter.
  • Participates in ongoing development, communication and implementation of new programs and policies.
  • Assists in planning and implementation of company employee relations programs and activities.
  • Assists with coordinating robo calls and maintaining employee mobile app.


Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in business related field with demonstrated understanding of human resource laws, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle matters of confidentiality discreetly and work with employees on issues requiring varying degrees of sensitivity.
  • Demonstrated broad understanding of human resources principals, practices, and procedures.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems.


Your preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment strongly recommended.
  • Ability to lead and manage complex projects and programs.
  • Able to flex schedule or assist on variety of shifts as needed.
  • Knowledge of injection molding and assembly in the automotive industry is preferred.
