The Analyst role will be a key player in turning ideas to drive the future growth of LPL, and our financial advisors, into reality. We are looking for candidates who are skilled at influencing key stakeholders, using data to inform decision making, developing go-to-market strategies, and project execution.

The Analyst role will be part of our fast-paced Growth Strategy team where LPL dreams big – setting an ambitious growth vision – then owns, develops, and drives the highest impact growth levers – turning this vision into reality. Our Growth Strategists combine strategic thinking, human-centered design, market research & sizing, and data analysis to explore, ideate, and incubate the opportunities that will set LPL apart from the competition.

This is a hybrid in-person role based in our San Diego or Fort Mill office.

As an Analyst of Growth Strategy, you will…  

  • Support initiatives that will have a material impact to LPL’s growth

  • Partner with Growth Strategy VPs to build strategic perspectives and lead project execution

  • Collaborate with partners across LPL

  • Interact with advisors to receive feedback and uncover insights

  • Lead data insights and reporting for assigned projects

  • Create and deliver presentations (e.g. data insights, project plans and project updates) – that will be presented to partners and leaders throughout the organization

  • Be willing and excited to be a “utility player” flexing to support a wide range of projects as needed

  • Be an ambassador for LPL, building relationships with business partners to accelerate opportunities  

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

The minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Data or Engineering

  • 3+ years of experience in either corporate strategy or strategy consulting in areas that include: strategy, innovation and new ventures, go-to-market, growth, data & analytics, process improvement or project management

  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to identify and organize relevant data insights

  • Proficient in MS Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI)

  • Solid relationship building skills and experience influencing partners

  • Presentation and communication skills & ability to build a story narrative

Additional requirements:

  • Understanding of financial services industry and the needs of financial advisors

  • Experience of merging human-centered design with growth strategy

  • Able to take complex topics and make them easy to understand

Pay Range:

$77,000.00 - $128,300.00


 

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
