Benevity is the global leader in online workplace giving, donation matching, volunteering, and community investment software and we are seeking an Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team. Reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, this role will assist our leadership team with forecasting, analyzing and understanding our financial plans and results.

What you’ll do:
- Work closely with the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis and business partners across Benevity to assist in the reporting and modelling of the revenue portfolio in support of the annual budgeting and monthly rolling forecasting processes
- Analyze revenue trends, operational metrics and key drivers to assess business performance and identify risks and opportunities
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product and Revenue Operations teams to gather insights on pipeline performance, market trends and client behavior to incorporate into revenue forecasts
- Deliver consistent and reliable variance analysis of the company’s financial and operational performance that is used to support decision making at the highest levels
- Be highly engaged in the annual budgeting process and long-term strategic planning initiatives, aligning financial plans with company objectives
- Support ongoing improvements and the continuous development of accurate, flexible and robust modeling, reporting and processes to ensure a timely, detailed and reliable basis for decision making
- Own FP&A data integrity and maintenance
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field (working toward CPA designation a plus)
- 2+ years experience in a finance or accounting environment
- Strong proficiency in Excel with the ability to manage large amounts of data and perform related analyses
- Curious, naturally analytical, motivated to learn, question the status-quo, move fast… and break things
- Demonstrated attention to detail and well-developed problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines , prioritizing competing deliverables and multi-tasking
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Software-as-a-service or finance technology sector experience an asset
- Experience with Adaptive Insights (or similar business planning tool) an asset
- Experience with Oracle Netsuite an asset
