Be part of our talented and growing team! We are currently looking for an Analyst, Credit Services, to join our team, reporting to the Manager, Client Services. This is a part time 30 hours a week role.
As an Analyst, Credit Services, you will be the primary front-line point of contact for the Branch Network. You will underwrite credit applications and will be responsible for answering incoming calls while referring to company policies.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Reviews and evaluates Personal Loans and Real Estate loan credit applications within lending criteria and within approved lending authority.
- Reviews and evaluates Postponement/Partial Release
- Review and evaluate adjustment of term on an existing loan within company guidelines
- Review and evaluates Personal and Real Estate Loans for Deferment
- Reviews tax returns and pay stubs to verify income and record verification when required.
- Answer incoming calls from branch employees to take appropriate action for each call.
- Ensure good service and continuing relationship by ensuring prompt turnaround time.
- Maintains a prompt turnaround time on credit decisions Branch Network. Must be able to deal with branch representatives in a professional manner.
- Able to read credit bureau and analyses suspicious activity for potential fraud.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- High school diploma/GED
- 2 years of credit analysis experience
- Knowledge and understanding of real estate market and loan to value
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Work well in a team environment
- Professional, positive, and tactful demeanor with clients and customers
- Excellent oral and written communications skills in English and French
Ability to work shifts as assigned within an extended hour of operation:
Monday: 8:00 – 21:00
Tuesday-Thursday: 8:00 – 22:00
Friday: 8:00 – 20:30
Saturday: 9:00-17:00
