Job Description

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Be Checkout.com’s subject matter expert for both internal and external stakeholders on Card Payment Networks fees
  • Assist on aspects of interchange and scheme fees mapping including business case, impact analysis and development for new fees and existing fees updates
  • Translate upcoming interchange and scheme fees updates into business requirements and implement these in Checkout.com pricing engine accurately and within deadline
  • Assess Card Schemes invoices to ensure accuracy and engage with relevant teams for investigation
  • Investigate, action and report on any anomalies identified during the reconciliation process
  • Participate in creation and maintenance of dashboards to smooth the day to day processes
  • Review and promptly attend to queries with regards to interchange and scheme fees
  • Participate in project testing and document findings
  • Review and promptly attend to requests through Checkout.com ticketing system
  • Participate in the development, optimisation & documentation of business processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

  • 1+ years of hands-on Finance Analyst, Accountant or other relevant roles' experience in financial services and/or in payments processing
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with motivation to find end-to-end solutions 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with remote teams
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with complex datasets
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines in an evolving environment and sometimes shifting priorities
  • Willingness to take the initiative and continuously learn
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel required
  • Experience with SQL server and BI tools is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Statistics/Business/Actuarial or equivalent. 
  • Fluency in English, and superb communication skills at all levels
  • Knowledge of Interchange and Scheme Fees, Card Schemes and Payments Processing will be an advantage
