Analyst Business Product – Website Analytics
Supports the development and optimization of website analytics leveraging Google GA4 (Google Analytics version 4), Amplitude & event tracking on the participant, plan sponsor, intermediary websites and mobile apps. Works with the Product Managers and Architects to gather and translate business requirements into actionable tasks for engineers. Identifies opportunities based on user feedback and business priorities. Ensures website tagging standards are followed and data consistently populates to reports and dashboards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Collaborate with the Product Manager and business teams to gather and document detailed business requirements for website analytic reporting for both new modules and existing modules as required for customer dashboards.
- Work closely with engineers to ensure that tagging and event tracking standards are clearly understood and effectively translated into actionable development tasks.
- Understand data availability and usability for specific actionable insights and trends.
- Analyze user feedback, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities for product enhancements and additional content.
- Partner with the Product Manager and Data Architect to ensure seamless integration of new insights and features into the product.
- Communicate moderately complex technical requirements and product updates in a clear and actionable manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Full time bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, science or engineering.
- 2-4 years of experience in website analytics such as Google GA or Amplitude, product analysis, business analysis, customer dashboards, or a related role, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Knowledge and experience of using analytics tools like SAS, Python, SQL, Quick sight will be an advantage
- Understanding of website tagging standards and ability to rectify the tags
- Strong verbal and written English language fluency skills.
- Effective written, listening, and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated knowledge of data analytics and reporting concepts and process
- Experience in translating business requirements into website tagging and analytic reporting critter
- Familiarity with financial products, particularly 401(k) and other deferred compensation retirement plans, is highly desirable
- Working knowledge of software development methodologies, particularly in the digital space
- Ability to define problems, analyze available data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make recommendation
- Experience working with data marts and business intelligence tools is an advantage
