Job Overview:

The Analyst role will provide problem-solving, quality controls, audit, procedures, project and training support to their respective team and department required processes. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of audits, controls, procedure maintenance and strong data analysis abilities to support billing processes and new projects. This candidate will also need strong interpersonal, organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the review, reconciliation and supervisory control of data

  • Documents quality issues, performance measures and quality improvements for management review

  • Process change management including updating and maintaining department controls and procedures

  • Ensures proper application of and compliance with internal and regulatory standards, guidelines and procedures.

  • Coordination with internal and external team members to implement or support ongoing processes and projects

  • Subject matter expert on operational policies and procedures with a primary focus on the overall Advisory Billing process and related processes

  • Support and analyze audit and remediation data requests

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of related professional experience in Financial Services

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Access and PowerPoint, with advanced skills in Excel (e.g lookups, pivot tables, formulas, etc)

  • Proven ability to prioritize, lead, and multi-task in a fast paced, ever-changing environment

  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal management oversight for day-to-day work responsibilities

  • Advanced attention to detail with a proactive approach to solving and preventing problems

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external contacts

  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills

Preferences:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or similar

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively to various levels throughout the organization

  • 5+ years of related professional experience in Financial Services, preferably in operations or trading

  • Basic structured query language (SQL)

  • FINRA Securities Industrial Essentials (SIE)

  • Lean Six Sigma

Pay Range:

$27.30-$45.49/hour


 

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
