Analog Hardware Engineer (Multiple Openings)
Responsibilities:
The Analog Hardware Engineer at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. (“SEL”) will design, develop, and analyze analog and digital electronic circuits. The incumbent will apply the principles of electrical and computer engineering and: (1) manage hardware projects of moderate complexity; (2) design, implement, document, and develop the specifications for all hardware used in product development; (3) demonstrate and document product and circuit robustness using computer simulations, conventional analysis, and standard testing methodologies; (4) write and analyze test plans, conduct design tests, and evaluate test results; (5) conduct hardware design reviews; (6) prepare and maintain product documentation, bills of material, project notebooks and instructions manuals; (7) provide product cost estimates, basic labor estimates, and project plans; (8) coordinate engineering activities with purchasing and manufacturing; (9) undertake improvements of company research and development initiatives; and (10) participate in industry meetings, seminars, and conferences to keep technical proficiency sharp.
Salary Range: $103,900.00 - $108,100.00 per year.
