JOB DESCRIPTION
· Provide day-to-day advice, support to our Japan business and operations on AML/ATF matters such as name scan and transaction monitoring alerts.
· Review and enhance the Japanese AML/ATF Compliance related policies, guidelines and manuals.
· Submit reports to local regulator, law enforcement body enquiries, investigations, audits on AML/ATF.
·Monitor any compliance and operational required remediation/enhancement works to ensure compliance with the Japanese AML/ATF regulations, laws and guidelines.
· Handle consultations on draft regulations, guidelines rolled out by the Japanese regulator relating to AML/ATF Compliance.
· Prepare, review and if required deliver training to the Japanese business and operations on regulatory, compliance requirements touching upon AML/ATF, FATCA/CRS or Anti-Bribery & Corruption Compliance.
· Prepare, review ongoing reports for periodic regulatory/compliance updates to Manulife’s Board of Directors, Regional and Global Compliance and Senior Management on AML/ATF matters.
· Support the managers to lead, manage and coordinate ad-hoc AML/ATF company projects, initiatives where required.
· Perform such other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Head of AML, Manulife Japan
Skills & Experience:
· Experience in financial institutions, preferably in the insurance industry or banking industry.
· Strong IT literacy and experience in IT projects.
· Strong communication skills, verbal and written, required.
Internal Guidelines about Work from Home:
Hybrid Model, following Manulife’s Working Better guidelines.
Over time:
30-40 hours/month.
Salary:
Based on our Work Rules, we will consider your experience, skills and knowledge when we decide the salary.
Commutation allowance and Variable Incentive Bonus are paid based on our

Working Hours:
Standard Working Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm (Include 1 hour break. Flex-time system available)
