Job Description: AMIO Corporate Planning Section Manager
Our Nissan AMIEO (Africa, Middle East, India, Europe, Oceania) HQ are located in Montigny-le-Bretonneux and the Corporate Strategy and Planning department is looking for a highly, talented, analytically minded and motivated section manager to support the mid-term planning process for the AMIO (Africa, Middle East, India Oceania) markets in the region.
Corporate Strategy and Planning’s mission is to drive mid-term and long-term strategy developments that ensure the future success and profitability of the AMIEO region. The team work closely with key functions, including Marketing & Sales, Manufacturing, R&D and Finance, to understand the competitive landscape and ensure that we have robust strategic plans that are fully aligned to the global corporate long term vision: Nissan Ambition 2030 - empowering mobility and beyond for a cleaner, safer and more inclusive world.

Mission and Responsibilities:
This is a critical role for business, and the successful candidate will work closely with senior management and other key stakeholders in a fast paced, dynamic environment to shape the regional mid-term plan. The role requires strong business acumen the ability to analyze, quantify and challenge strategic initiatives and incorporate them into the mid-term financial forecast.
Main tasks:
Preparation of mid term strategies, volumes and financial forecast for Africa, Middle East, India and Oceania (AMIEO region):
- Ensure data integrity and resolve escalated issues from all sub-regions
- Consolidate planning assumptions and guides ensuring coherence across functions
- Liaise with Global function to ensure alignment on expected deliverables (timing, process, tools/systems)
- Coordinate the development and deployment of a new Integrated Financial tools
Ensure mid-term plan strategic alignment, transparency and robustness, to Nissan Ambition 2030:
- Ensure consistency of mid-term trajectory towards long term vision
- Analyze mid-term scenarios and forecasting to support executives with key decision making
- Identify new business opportunities & risks based on gap analysis and benchmarking
- Work with external organization as per needed (including Renault) to bring further strategic insights to Nissan Europe
Requirements and Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills - highly capable to understand strategic concepts. Ability to interrogate strategic plans and challenge the status quo
- Strong business and finance acumen
- Highly capable to interrogate data within Excel and build working tools
- Proactive and organized to manage complex workflows and multiple deadlines
- Team leadership and coaching skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to engage numerous cross functional stakeholders to follow agreed workflows and processes
- Excellent communication skills – ability to interpret data in order to build engaging presentations with clear story lines. Ability to present and discuss with senior executives
- Good understanding of automotive market and the external challenges
- Demonstrable strategic thinking abilities
Experience & Education:
- Masters degree
- Minimum 10 years experience working within automotive, preferably for an OEM
- Proven experience in strategy planning and execution role
- Team management experience
