We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Amazon Content Manager to join our growing eCommerce team. You will be the expert in optimizing our product data on Amazon, ensuring it is engaging, informative, and aligned with Amazon's best practices to drive traffic, conversions, and a superior customer experience. This role requires a deep understanding of the Amazon marketplace, excellent data management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Data Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive product data strategy for Amazon, aligned with overall brand guidelines and Amazon's specific requirements, to maximize product visibility and conversion rates.
  • Data Enrichment & Optimization: Write, edit, and optimize product titles, bullet points, descriptions, A+ Content, and other on-page elements according to Amazon's search engine optimization (SEO) best practices. Continuously analyze product data performance and make data-driven improvements.
  • Product Listing Management: Ensure all product listings are accurate, complete, and optimized for search and discoverability on Amazon, adhering to style guides and brand consistency.
  • Image and Video Management: Source, edit, and manage high-quality product images and videos that meet Amazon's technical specifications and enhance the customer experience.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Utilize Amazon Brand Analytics and other tools to monitor product data performance, track key metrics, and generate regular reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Amazon SEO: Stay up to date with Amazon's ever-evolving search algorithm and implement best practices for organic visibility.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify content gaps and opportunities, adapting strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Content Playbooks & Guidelines: Develop and maintain content style guides, playbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure brand consistency and content quality across all Amazon marketplaces.

Your Profile:

  • Experience: 2+ years of proven experience in a similar eCommerce data management, Amazon marketing, or product data management role.
  • Amazon Expertise: Deep understanding of the Amazon marketplace, including its search algorithm (A9), content policies, and best practices for product listing optimization and A+ Content.
  • Content Management Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating engaging and informative content.
  • SEO & Keyword Research: Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience conducting keyword research, preferably within the context of Amazon.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data from Amazon Brand Analytics and other tools to draw insights and make data-driven decisions about content optimization.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Adaptability & Proactiveness: Ability to adapt to the dynamic nature of the Amazon marketplace, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and staying ahead of trends.
