Lead Technical PM Specialist

What's the role?
You will be part of a motivated engineering team working on map data processing. The team is responsible for a data onboarding and updating software stack and is integrated in the context of Mapmaking.
We are handling typical map data, that is used for location services, such as navigation of vehicles and people (cars, transportation, and beyond). You are connecting product and engineering with a good understanding of both sides to ensure aligned understanding,and building bridges to integrate engineering excellence for a smooth product evolution.
Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute product roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional teams• Turn high level business requirements into technical specifications & development stories in a collaborative manner• Organize an execution plan that balances priorities, cost, schedule, & tradeoffs• Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership to develop the technical roadmap aligned with growth strategies• Work closely with the development engineering team to ensure that products are developed and maintained to the highest standards• Ensure technical requirements and acceptance criteria are clearly defined to support engineering execution• Define and track product KPIs to measure success and drive continuous improvement• Manage the product backlog and prioritize features based on business value and customer impact• Establish transparency around execution, risk, & issues• Communicate product updates and releases to stakeholders and customers
Who are you?
We are seeking someone with a strong passion for maps and mapmaking. In addition:

• 5+ years of technical product management experience including architect, product owner, or equivalent technical leader roles
• Strong technical background and understanding of software development processes & system architecture
• Team player with the ability to work in a collaborative environment with strong project management and outstanding organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Solid experience of using team collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence/Wiki), issue tracking tools (e.g. JIRA) and ideally code collaboration tools (e.g. Git/GitLab).
• Knowledge of maps and map data maps and geospatial algorithms (e.g. for map data processing)
• Self-starter who is always looking for ways to improve the product and processes
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills (e.g. discuss and structure ideas)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills e.g. project reports, structure and moderate meetings, communication with technical and non technical teams
• Master or higher with a technical/analytical discipline, preferably in GIScience/Geoinformatics, Computer Science, Geography or related fields
