This position offers:
· Starting pay of $20.70/hr. up to top pay of $29.21/hr.*
· Quarterly gainsharing bonus potential
*additional shift differential for off-shifts

What You Drive at DTNA
General Purpose of the Position:
Fine pitch solder is responsible for, repairing, and modifying production electronic components and circuit boards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares and solders all levels of electronic components onto Printed Circuit Boards (PCB’s) according to specifications.
- Perform all levels of soldering up to and including Fine pitch hand component soldering to IPC standards.
- Lead forming of different types of electronic parts using hand tools and automatic equipment for PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assembly.
- Advanced understanding of PCB assembly drawings and related documents; ECN’s, assembly instructions.
- Utilize electrical and manual tools such as soldering iron, de-soldering equipment, and solder removal tools.
- Has an advanced understanding of PCB assembly processes, component installation sequence of thru hole components.
- Rework, repair, and modify printed circuit boards and/or assemblies to required specifications.
- Maintains department specific records.
- Ability to learn new jobs, tasks, functions and develop training for these functions.
- Perform cross functional audits across manufacturing.
- Mentoring of new employees/contractors to ensure training is successful and questions/concerns are addressed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma/GED; AA Degree Preferred
- Years of Experience: 1 years
- Other Qualifications:
- Must be an IPC 610 A Certified to soldering or have the ability to achieve certification.
- Willingness to take charge, and offer opinions and direction.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to support circuit board inspections across manufacturing
- Perform basic computer duties as assigned. Minimal computer skills required.
