We are looking for an algorithm developer with experience developing and optimizing data-driven and physics-informed algorithms. Your role will focus on optimal energy management, forecasting, anomaly detection, and reliability. Proficiency in Python and Data Science frameworks is required, along with experience in optimization algorithms and high-performance computing. Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize algorithms for optimal solar energy management, anomaly detection and automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate scientific models into efficient computational algorithms, writing high quality production ready code.
- Conduct performance analysis and refine algorithms to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Utilize modern data analysis and AI tools to process large datasets, extract meaningful insights, and support decision-making.
- Document algorithm development processes and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- MSc/PhD in a scientific field, preferably with a background in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
- 4+ years of experience in algorithm development, particularly in energy systems or related fields.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: taking ownership of solutions, working independently, and collaborating to bring innovative ideas to the team.
- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in Data Science frameworks such us: SciPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch.
- Proven experience with statistical inference and discrete optimization algorithms.
- Experience with time-series prediction and anomaly detection algorithms.
- Experience with high-performance computing and simulation frameworks.
- A background in the renewable energy industry - advantage.
