The AIT Manager ( AM ) reports directly to the Program Manager. He / she (AM) is responsible towards the program(through dedicated personnel provided / agreed by/ with relevant AIT departments ) of:
- Managing the relevant AIT Work Packages / Cost Accounts ensuring costs aspects w.r.t. the relevant Program Manager (costs, Workload,, Industrial revenues, extra budget, O/R, savings…) with relevant upgrading in the company system
- Coordination and planning of all AIT activities including evaluation / implementation of corrective actions / changes in accordance with program directives and relevant requirements
- To monitor/ request proper documentation /input availability from other company department for AIT activities (documentation included)
- To monitor/ request proper HW / SW availability from other company department for AIT activities (documentation included)
- To participate to the relevant PCD ( ex-Plan De Production )
- Liaison with engineering as required for AIT activities implementation
- Participation to program review / meetings as required for AIT activities
- Procurement and techno – programmatic coordination of relevant Integration and test facilities in accordance with Program requirements ensuring the necessary logistic aspects
- To ensure the definition, production, validation of the Test Application SW (Test sequences, EGSE DB, support and processing SW tools) for AIT activities
- To ensure the definition / specification , production / follow-on, acceptance of GSE for relevant AIT use
- To ensure the design, manufacturing and procurement of the Test Equipment and Instrumentation in accordance with relevant Program requirements
- To ensure the required use/maintenance/certification of AIT tools (including Support Equipment and GSE)
- Conduction of Integration / test activities in compliance with the applicable, approved procedures via dedicated team references
- To ensure AIT documentation availability as necessary for Program use (including Plans done by AIT and Test reports availability through AIT systems engineer, as applicable)
- To prepare the AIT MPR
- To prepare the relevant AIT weekly report
- To coordinate the WL aspects with the different AIT disciplines
- Prepare the weekly synthetic schedule (as applicable)
- Prepare / execute the AIT Launch Campaign (as applicable)
- Prepare / coordinate required quotation ( changes and BID as required)I in accordance with relevant Department responsible(s) / BID Team and AIT Competence Center Director
About You
Education and experience
- Engineering Master degree in electronics / aerospace or similar)
- Fluent English
- Basic knowledge of French language could be an advantage.
- Proved previous experience of at least 5 (five) in Space environment management (arriving from previous technical experience in the Space products) with relevant schedule / cost / quality / personnel management
Skills and knowledge
Knowledge of following computer application:
- Window based applicable SW: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project etc.)
- MES / Primavera knowledge is an advantage
- IPMA certification
Knowledge of Lean Methods
Personal ability
- Ability to proper interface with relevant Stakeholders
- Ability to work in team ( coordinating it and interfacing with other teams)
- Capability to organize the activities with different priorities
- Organized and methodical approach to the work with strong communication skills
- Attitude to withstand stressing environment
