Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and proactive AI/ML engineer intern to join a high-collaborative team of AI/ML Engineers and Scientists working to leverage Generative AI technologies to provide the best connected experience for consumers. In this role, you will be designing, developing, and testing Generative AI methods for a variety of use cases and models, ensuring that the output is accurate, relevant, and high-quality.

You will: 

  • Work alongside LivePerson’s Generative AI Engineers, Scientists, and Product leaders to leverage LivePerson’s enormous conversational data pipeline and customer base
  • Contribute to expanding LivePerson’s Generative AI self-service offering, working with various business units to get feedback from internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and evaluate Agentic AI approaches to address real-world enterprise challenges like personalization and multi-modal AI 
  • Get real-world experience from working with the industry-leading connected experience platform  


You have:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master's in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Generative AI and Prompt Engineering
  • Knowledge and/or experience with general Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Conversational AI concepts 
  • Proficiency in Python 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future
