Job Description
About the role:
We are seeking for an AI Transformation Trainee to join our digital & innovation team. The ideal candidate will have a background in machine learning, artificial intelligence, natural language processing. The candidate will be responsible for building and deploying machine learning models at scale, as well as developing new features to improve our cutting-edge NLP-based technologies.
How you will contribute:
- Building data pipeling - Data gathering from our enterprise data backbone plateform (EDB), preparation and visualization as per customers requirements. Tools = SQL, Python (Numpy, Plotly), Databricks.
- The pipeline will be further automated by leveraging simple and/or advanced NLP algorithms (spaCy, LLMs, etc). The idea is to retrieve in the provided text documents the name of entities (variable, equipment) and automatically extract the relevant data for the pipeline. Tools = Pyton (NLP, Pytorch, spaCy, Huggingface), SQL, Databricks.
- Finally, based on UI/UX customers requirements, the trainee will develop a first prototype application. Tools = AGILE, Dash / Plotly.
- In addition, the trainee will discover the day-to-day activities in a phama manufacturing site including visits, team meetings, AGILE methodology.

Important Considerations:
At Takeda, our patients rely on us to create quality products, and we aim to create a safe environment for our team members. As a result, we must follow strict rules in our manufacturing facilities to ensure we are not endangering the quality of the product or putting anyone at the site in harm's way. In this role, you may:
- Work in a controlled environment requiring special gowning and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body. This may include additional hearing protection for loud areas.
- Need to remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish and/or artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment.
- Work in a cold, hot environment and load manual handling.
- Work multiple shifts, including weekends, or be asked to work supplemental hours, as necessary.
- Work around chemicals and biologicals products that may require specific protection (respiratory, skin, etc.).
