Introduction:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to spearhead the implementation of cutting-edge AI technologies, including transformer models, to combat and prevent fraudulent activities. This role requires an expert in AI-driven fraud detection systems who can effectively integrate complex models into our risk infrastructure to maintain and enhance platform safety & efficiency.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and deploy AI models, particularly transformer models, to detect and mitigate fraudulent activities.
- Utilize graph algorithms and graph machine learning techniques to enhance model accuracy and insights into complex data relationships.
- Work closely with data engineering teams to enhance data inputs, and to build and train transformer models for improved fraud detection accuracy and efficiency.
- Regularly evaluate and update the performance of AI models using the latest machine learning, graph machine learning, and AI research and techniques.
- Assist in demonstrating model capabilities to stakeholders and aligning outcomes with expectations.
- Support team members in learning AI technologies and methodologies, contributing to a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Maintain an understanding of blockchain technology and its implications for security and fraud detection within a crypto trading context.

Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

4 to 8 years of experience in technology-focused roles, with significant exposure to fraud detection/prevention with graph models.

Experience in developing and deploying machine learning models, including deep learning, graph machine learning, and user behavior analytics for fraud and security risk detection.

Practical experience with feature engineering, transformer models, clustering algorithms, and graph algorithms.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with other team members.

Good communication and strategic thinking skills.

Solid understanding of blockchain technology and its applications in security and fraud prevention.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in startup environments and fast-paced companies or top-tier technology companies
- Published research or contributions to the field of cybersecurity, especially in areas relevant to fraud detection and platform security.
