About the position:

We are currently seeking a talented and highly motivated Computer Science 3rd year Intern to join our Generative AI and NLP team. This is a unique opportunity for a driven individual to contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI technology
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our team of AI experts to develop and optimize generative AI and NLP models
- Conduct research on state-of-the-art techniques and algorithms in the AI and NLP domain
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and evaluation of novel AI and NLP solutions
- Analyse and interpret data to improve model performance and efficiency
- Assist in the documentation and presentation of research findings and project results
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the ongoing development of the team's goals and objectives
- Execute automated and manual tests for AI systems, focusing on minimizing issues like hallucination.
- Work with AI engineers and data scientists to troubleshoot and optimize AI/ML models and pipelines.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Python programming language, with experience in relevant AI and NLP libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, NLTK, spaCy)
- Demonstrable passion for artificial intelligence, with a focus on generative AI and NLP
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and concepts, such as supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, and neural networks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure)
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development methodologies (e.g., Agile)
- Previous experience with AI or NLP research or projects

The annual gross base salary range for this position is $75,000 (prorated over 12 weeks).
